Troder Hall, Indiana Tech’s newest residence hall, will open its doors to students just in time for the 2024-25 academic year.

This new facility, which broke ground in May 2023, is named after longtime university supporter W. Paul Troder. Mr. Troder earned a degree in civil engineering from Tech in 1951. Following his service in the U.S. military during the Korean War, he began a long and distinguished career as an engineer and entrepreneur. He founded Allied Moulded Products in Bryan, Ohio, growing the company to become the leading manufacturer of non-metallic electrical boxes and enclosures in the world today.

Mr. Troder has been a steadfast friend to Indiana Tech students throughout his life, from establishing the W. Paul Troder Scholarship to supporting this new four-story facility, which features 124 private and semi-private rooms, common areas on each floor with kitchens, and outdoor gathering spaces around the building.
