Dr. Carrie Duke, assistant professor of rhetoric/composition, represented the Indiana College English Association at the Beyond Boundaries-Indiana Academies Symposium in April. She presented a panel titled Conversing as Scholar Teachers: Pedagogical Reflections in Composition, Rhetoric, Graphic Novels and Analytical Reading.
Dr. Kevin Bottomley, assistant professor, Ph.D. in Global Leadership, presented Shifting the Paradigm: On-Campus to Online for a Ph.D. Residency (coauthored with Dr. Angie Fincannon and Ms. Cammi Edmiston) and Overcoming Data Collection Obstacles in a Distance Learning Program During a Pandemic (coauthored with Dr. King Imani) during July’s Distance Learning Administration Conference.
Dr. Cortney Robbins, associate professor of English, was awarded the Gertrude and Theodore Debs Memorial Fellowship as a graduate student within the history program at Indiana State University.
Dr. Said Abushamleh, associate professor of electrical engineering, co-authored the article, A Half-Mode Substrate Integrated Waveguide Filtering Power Divider with Fourier-Varying Via Holes, for Microwave and Optical Technology Letters in July.
